Re: Ashley and Ben's 55gal Gift.

I commend you for doing the right thing Punkette!! The good news for you both is that after several months (12ish) of great water quality and with STRONG lights you can get another one.

Re: Ashley and Ben's 55gal Gift.

To tell you the truth I really don't care too much for an anemone. Just didn't feel like fighting with Ben to get rid of it.....but we talked and agreed to get rid of it.

I'm in this invert frenzy. I can't have fish right now so i'm just wanting to buy all kinds of inverts (but haven't of course) I want a purple lobster. or an urchin (but there's no coralline algae for it to eat right now). I just want SOMETHING lol

Re: Ashley and Ben's 55gal Gift.

I have a purple lobster and he's really COOL! The problem with mine is that the way I aquascaped I don't see him unless I drop a shrimp pellet to where he HAS to come out to get it. Even then he's quick like lightening and only for a moment. He stays hidden all the time but when I get up in the middle of the night to "tinkle" and peek in the tank he's out walking around showing everyone who's REALLY boss. I've had him for 9 months and he's still about 3" long so he's not growing fast but he sheds a SWEET shell about every 2-3 weeks.

Re: Ashley and Ben's 55gal Gift.

I'm sitting here at home today (bored out of my mind) and remember that I have a $34 credit at the LFS. YAY!!!! So I packed to baby up and went off to the fish store.

Everyone STOP take a deep breath and relax...I TOOK THE ANEMONE BACK!!!! YAY!!!! LOL

So at the LFS I bought a Maxi-Jet 900, 5 Astrea and 1 GI-normous turbo snail. It didn't look this big in the store but when I got home I put it in the tank and it HUGE!!!!! Take a look.....
