kathy: there are no basements in this part of the us. if you dig much deeper than the foundation, you're likely to dig up water.

You can & that is my drean 140,000 SW Pool with Sharks & Eels etc.. that I can view from my living room & bedroom

Big Al has a link to this guy who built a thousands of gallon reef tank out doors. in south America I think

Oh Yeah! I saw that Varga, WAY cool, not underground though.

DID see a linky to one that WAS underground now that I think about it, I remember the guy using natural sunlight to light it up.

Well today I am going to do some replumbing on the 300 in Wall tank to get rid of the normal drain hose & install flex PVC to obtain more unrestricted flow as we3ll as change the return lines to have a short flow distance to the bulkhead therefore less flow loss back to the tank. Pictures tonight

I am also going to work on the DIY AWC today. Setting the supply & Drain lines in place attacheing the RO/DI to the sump. To get this project in full swing for a first ATW on Saturday. Pictures tonight
