Re: 240

If the fish dont appear to be in distress and are eating, personally I'd wait it out but feed medicated food and garlic. Still a good idea to have the QT ready to roll. I think sometimes we underestimate the immune system.

Re: 240

Well it sure has been a while.

Here is an update. I decided not to put the fish into a Hospital tank. I know some will think that was a mistake.

Jose has finally made a huge turnaround. Luckily he never stopped eating. His appetite remained the same. All the other fish looked and behaved normally. The Regal Angel has become the family favorite (after Jose).
She will follow ANYONE up and down the tank, and beg for food. Last week I tried to hand feed her. AND IT WORKED. She ate right from my hand with no fear. She has really fattened up the last two weeks. All the fish that were transfered over form the 100 gallon are doing great as well.

No fish in the tank have any visible signs of ick at the moment. The last ick specs I saw were two weeks ago. I have been soaking all food in several different additives, which I think has really helped.

Now that I know Ick is in the tank, I am going to have to keep the tank as close to stress free as possible, as letting the tank go fallow now is out of the question. My dad will not allow another tank in the house. So I have to work with what I have.

So there is the Positive update on the fish.

Also all the corals transfered from the 100 are begining to really take off.

~Michael

Well it's about time!

Fabulous news and thanks for the update. As you know, your thread is absolutely worthless without pics!

Re: 240

Well, I did something bad the other day. I GOT MORE FISH.
After getting the Regal Angel I have become obsessed with angelfish. So I got THREE more. I got a small Flame, and Potters, and a large Majestic. They have been in the tank for three days now with no problems. The regal and majestic dont fight, neither do the potters and flame. All are eating great, and look amazing. Jose is almost completely back to normal, his eyes are clear, and he has been out and about like normal. I am very stoked about everything finally working out. Here are a few shots of the potters angel. Sorry for the poor quality, I took them early this morning.

You have to admit that this is a really cute fish!!!!!

Beautiful fish Michael!
I'm glad the fish are overcoming the ICH!
Sorry if I missed it... What did you do? Did you remove the fish and treat in a hospital tank?

Re: 240

Thanks everyone. I am glad that all the fish have recovered from ick. i know it is still in the tank, I will just have to keep the stress levels as close to zero as I can.
