I know how you feel buddy. I asked them to stop at the truck-stop on the way to meet me. The truck-stop would have only cost them maybe 10 minutes extra time (total in and out) and is only 7 minutes from my office here. She said they couldn't because My tank could be somewhere other than on the TAIL of the truck. so I had to drive 40 minutes each way (not much compared to your drive) and take that much EXTRA time off from work. But it did save me a bunch of $$ though.

So they didn't have ANY stops closer? I mean wont they be going right through there anyway? Maybe do some name dropping and mention ReefSanctuary and see if they can't work with you some. It's good business and we ARE openly discussing it here.

I know, I told her that Where they wanted me to meet was 2 hrs away. She told me to hold, came back and said that was the best she could do. i will try again closer to time.

Just make sure that when you go pick up the tank you give it a very thorough inspection

Yes give it a very close inspection... also ask that they load it so yours IS nearest to the back (at least in order of stops) this way you may be able to meet them somewhere closer. Ask for Tom.. I think he's the owner and he was more "accommodating" than the lady answering the phone. She could use better manners and customer service.

I have a Question. I Have NO experience with pluming. See I cant even spell it.

In my Overflows, I Know that I need an overflow pipe. Should I make one, buy one, what?
Also how do I make one. As for the return, do I make this as well?

Thats exactly what I did and used THAT website as well. I haven't "tested" mine yet but that's how I did it.

As for returns you'll have to decide what you want to do with it but yes you can build that too.

Michael, al that stuff is really easy, Durso stand pipes = the diameter of your bulkhead PVC, T's, Caps, 90's Drill a hole in the top of the cap for air. Returns same principle except no T & Cap just the 90 & no hole

Thanks for the Info guys. I Guess I will be spending some time at Home Depot. Its funny I love going in there, even though I dont need or use most of the stuff they have. I am just attracted to tools. I will have to be careful, I might leave with Piping, and a $600 saw that I will never use.

Well, I yalked with Jeff earlier today. My filter system shipped today, and I will have it on Monday. My tank will be available for pickup on the 10th or 11th of November, so I should be able to have water in it on the 12th. I am soo excited. I just got off the phone with a guy at reefermadness.us.
He is having his Live Rock supplier call me later today to discuss what I want in terms of Live Rock. He said that he can hand select some of the better show pices from the following types:
Kaelini, Pukani,Huni, and Buna Branch.
He also said that since I am needing so much Live rock that He could discount it up to 20%. Awesome!!

I am starting my stocking list tonite. Me and my girlfriend will be deciding every fish and coral that we want. Then comes the scary part........Pricing the livestock. I have a general Idea what most of the corals and fish will cost.....It scares me alot.

I plan on adding fish the middle to end of november, and I will have my solaris a little before Christmas. Corals will start going in around the end of january, starting with Zoos, shrooms.... then the LPS....and my SPS corals will start going in around the end of march the beginning of April.
Granted this is just a rough Idea, and I am sure there will be a few setbacks here and there.
I will put my socking list on here a little later.

Woa there buddy! That's putting your cart WAY ahead of the horse. You gotta let that baby sit up, then add everything then you have that whole Cycle to factor in there. I'd say depending on your Live Rock you're probably looking at adding fish no sooner than mid December maybe even waiting and let Santa add the fish for you.

It all sounds SO good but we gotta put the brakes on slightly buddy.

My bad, I messed up. I meant the end of december. Typing too fast.
My rock will be precured for the most part. I will probably add 100 pounds of uncured to start the cycle. I want the tank up for about two months before I add any fish.
Thinking about it gets me excited then I type the wrong stuff.
