Sorry about the lack of pics. I will try to get them up today. Plaese dont be mad!!

Re: 240

Yeo!!! Thanks for all the compliments. The Tongan Fusion is by far the best rock that I have ever gotten. I has really cool shapes, is light, full of life, and very light. PLus this rock was the freshest I have ever seen or smelled. It had NO rank odor to it. It did not even smell ocean-like. Very nice rock. I am not sure who it is who has the life reef skimmer. think it is Ramseuelr (sorry for the mis-spelling) You are going to love your skimmer. They are so great. I was a littel concerned when everyone started saying that I should get a Bubble King other "good" skimmmer. Well this is a good one.

Re: 240

Michael, you're curing your rock right in your 240, right? And your rock is a mixture of Marco Dry Rock, and the live rock from Premium Aquatics and PEA?

How's the curing going with the mixture of rock types? What kind of measurements are you seeing? Are you doing water changes?

Sorry for the questions, but it's almost Go Time for my tank, and I would like to hear about how your curing is going. Thanks!

Re: 240

I will be curing all the rock togather. I did it this way in my current 100 galoon, and it worked perfectly. I just put the LR in on Wed, and then some yesterday. I will be addign alot of the Marco rock tonite. And then the rest of ot over the weekend. When I used LR to cycle my 100 gallon tank it only took around 2 weeks for my ammonia levels to reach zero. WHen you do it this way it is easier to keep the rock "live". I have TONS of flow, and a very powerful Protien skimmer to keep the ammonia levels in check. I have not done any water changes yet, but once the ammonia levels start to rise I will do several.

Re: 240

Yes, it was me that has the LifeReef skimmer ready to go. I am VERY impressed with what you are getting from it. Screw the $1000+ skimmers!!!

I also LOVE my Marco rock. No way it is gonna be my base. This stuff is show quality. I wish I had ordered all Marco.

Mike, since our tanks are so similar, I consider you my aqua-buddy, LOL. I expect birthday cards.
