Re: 240

If I had to bet I would say "pick-up" spot. But it's a HUGE truck and they meet in some easy to find place. I had to drive 30 minutes to the "Farmer's Market" but it saved me a TON of $$$$

Re: 240

I get down that way fairly often. I have family just off of Sharon Drive (only the most common road in Charlotte I know) and work sends me that way for training on occasion. Next time I'm heading that way I'll give you a call.

Re: 240

Ok, I have been looking at all of the tank accesories that I am going to need.
I think that I am going to order the tank today. That means that I will have it in three weeks. I am very excited.
As for circulation I m getting two of the Eco-tech marine Vortec powerheads with wireless wave maker att. Both of these will be on a batter backup system, one for each powerhead.

Lighting: 72" 400W LED Solaris (hook Me up Jak)

Filtration: Lifereef LF1-300 with upgraded skimmer

Refugium: Lifereef Refugium

I wont be using a chiller, hopefully the lights put off little heat, as they say they do. Plus I will only have one in water pump(for Skimmer) and the inline Little Giant. The power heads are not supposed to transfer heat.

The skimmer is a 30 inch Lifereef rated to 350 gallons. I know that you should get a skimmer rated 2X your tank but I talked with Jeff he said his rating are based off what these skimmers will actually do (witha typicall fish stocking list). I want to be on the low side of the fish stocking list, just to minimize water pollutants.

I have a good Idea about the types of live rock, and the way I will arange it. I will have two large "mountains" not just mounds of rock, and there will be several "bridges" connecting the two "mountains" I want to have some bare sand, as I think this will look the most natural, reefs arent just all rock.

I want the middle to have moderate flow and the top and sides to have very high flow, which I think will be easy enough to vreate with the rock formations that I have in mind.

I am looking at the following types of rock:
Reefermadness Tonga Kaelini Page
Reefermadness Cured Tonga huni Page
Reefermadness Cured Buna Branch Page
along with some tongan Fusion, Ridge or shelf, Lalo, and Tongan Branch.

I want a 5-6 in deep sand bed, as I am most concerned with having a Great Jawfish tank. Jose is in need of a girlfriend, and I want to have the Perect tnk for them. The depth of the tank will allow for them to have a better lookout of whats going on.

Corals:
Primarily SPS
I also want the inner part to have LPS ( Acans, blastos, maybe an Aussie elegance, and some of the more exotic LPS corals)
Aong the base of the rock "Mountains" I want to have some Palys and zoos (no brown or dull colors, I want the good stuff)

I want this to be a Great SHOW tank.

Tell me what you think-Michael
