Well, my arm is till as swollen today as it was yesterday. It looks pretty bad. Everyone is saying you better get to the doctor. I think I am going to wait until tommorow. If it still hurts I will go.
Dont worry my arm will not hold me back.
My goals this week:|
Monday: Healing
Tuesday: Staining
Wed. Coat of Polyp
Thursday.: Plumbing
Friday: Water? Possibly
Sat: Snowblading

Sun: Snowblading

Somewhere in betwwen all this I hope my Rock will get here and I can get to making some nice Towers and such. It is a good thing I can handle pain!!

wait till tomorrow? DON'T WAIT! If it needs attention go ahead and get it so it CAN be healing! I "Waited" and ended up with some serious CRAP! They had to "re-break" it because it "set itself" wrong and started healing! I still have "issues" with that wrist to this day and it's been 29 years. DOOD go get it checked out so you'll KNOW for sure. Use my name and get better seating and express X-ray service

I am at work right now, and I just dont feel like going to the DOctor today. I think that I have just bruised it badly. I have a picture I will post of it tonite.
I know I shouldnt wait, but I am stuborn.

I agree with Al 110% my right hand is the same way damn windshield got in the way. The older we get the more the youth injuries hurt.

Things look great, sorry to hear of your booboo. I fell skiing and tore cartiledge and my MCL in my left knee yesterday. We'll be on the IR together, eh?

Go to the Dr. Michael Al and Jack are both right you may wind up making things worse for yourself. Besides then you can have Megan nurse you back to health.

not to rain on ya, but when broken bones are left unnatended you get an infection of the marrow... an extremely life threatening condition

I know. But it feels like a really bad torn muscle. I dont think that it is broken. Maybe fractured, but we will see......

Fractured and broken are the same thing. I'd definitely get it checked.

You may as well give in and go, you know we'll be relentless until you do.

I'm with everybody else. GO TO THE DOCTOR. No sense in being stuborn. It will only get worse by waiting. If it is still that swolen and sore after waiting 24hrs then you need medical attention.
Even if it is a torn muscle you need to go to the doc. That can be serious as well. Torn ligaments are even worse.
Plus the ER is only going to take x-rays and splint it. Then you still have to go to the ortho after. If you call now you might get in at the ortho directly and skip the ER mess.

Thanks everyone for caring. My Dad is mad at me for getting hurt. I keep telling him My arm hurts I cant lift anything heavier than a pen. He says "Well you shouldnt have gone skiing. You play you pay" He is NOT havign a good Monday. And go figure, he takes it out on me.

At least call today to make sure they can get you in tomorrow. Preferably early.
