I talked with Jack earlier about my new light. PFO is sold out, but I am on the List. I checked PFOs webpage, and they say the solaris is sold out until January. Gah....But I can wait.~Michael

That is my favorite! When I get my 1200g corner tank up and running, I'm gonna have one of those. I just gotta wait another 14 years, 6 months, and 23 days until my daughter graduates from college.

Evrything sounds swimmingly well Michael! Jack and I saw a mid-sized angel at Exotic Reef Imports he mentioned was reef safe. Ask him about which one it was as I can't recall.

Well I got some stuff ordered last night.
Aqua Controller Jr. with DC8
PM Kalk Reactor
Aqua Medic Auto Top off
Two 1200 GPH Korailias
Refractometer
PH Probe
Current LED Lighting Strip
Filter Guys RO/DI Unit.

Things are starting to come togather, slowly but surely.
I just wish PFO was not sold out of the Solaris until Next year.
But I wont be able to put anything into the tank until Feb. Anyways.

Just curious, why the Jr instead of the Pro? And did you look at the Aquatronicia system? I bought one of the pinpoint conductive meters and I VERY much prefer it to a refractometer. Just a thought...

The Aquacontroller 3 and Pro are nice but: My lighting system is the Solaris. I dont need a controller. I am going to be running two Echotech Vortechs with the Wireless WM. So I really only need it to control my two or four Koralias, my heaters, and a few other things. I just did not see any point in getting the other models when the Jr, will do everything I need it to.
I will probably be gettign a pinpoint Salinity monitor, but I just got the refractometer for now.

How difficult is it to calibrate the Pin Point Monitor?

I have an AC III and it's really not being used much, now that I have the Solaris and my Vortechs are controlled by their own controllers. Right now it's monitoring temp., pH, ORP (not really needed), and cotrolling heater and light over the fuge. Before my Solaris it was controlling the lights and the pumps. I'll have to find creative ways or buy some new equipment that it can control!

I know what you mean...I keep getting toys for my controller too. got a lux meter and a coloremeter recently for my Biotopus. These things arent really needed....just cool to have

michael did you get the salinity refrac from thefilterguys...the one they sell is very good
