Stupid ****** ***** ***I just got off the phone with one of the owners. At first she was very nice. She said "we have the ticket here and we do not think that the chip is significant, it will not hinder the tanks performance. She said " I dont know how the hell it got a chip in it. ( I dont know how she runs her business but if we ever heard an employee curse in front of a customer much less to a customer, they would de in deep crap) The first thing She offered to do was discount the tank. she said "We charged you to deliver the tank. I can waive the delivery fee for you. $125.00" I said that this will not work. She said would you like us to pick it up. I said yes maam. She said" We have the truck that will be in Raliegh tommorow. You can take the tank there" I said no I cant do that. She siad "well the truck will be going through statesville later tommorow" Statesville is an hour and a half from me. " I told her that I have to work tommorow but if the truck can come here I will have someone who can load it for the driver. I have a forklift. She Said" NO, that is not happening. The truck is on I40 and thats is how we get back." She said "you can either take the 125 dollars or bring the tank to statesville." I said that 125 off of a 2000 dollar tank is ridiculous. And I just want my money back. Then I said " Maam you do not need to get an attitude" She said I am not getting an attitude, I have tried to make you happy several times, but nothing seems to work. Wha tdo you think is a fair price off the tank!!!!!!" I said I do not know, I just want my money back. She was being loud and very rude. Then I said I will deal with this later!!
My dad is going to call the credit card company and file a claim, he will be calling her later to inform her of our actions. Jack I will be ordering in a few days it looks like. LETS BOYCOTT GLASSCAGES>COM

Sorry to hear that Micheal but keep your head up I firmly believe everything happens for a reason, unfornateky at the times they are happening we have no idea why but I am sure good things will come of this just try to be patient.

Man that just SUCKS! I won't be doing ANY business with them and will be referring ALL business away from them from this point on. I am sorry I even brought their name up.

That sounds like some of the WORST customer service I have ever heard of. With that attitude I hope they have a good back up plan because if you upset customers like that they wont be customers very long. It takes a LONG time to build a strong customer base and a VERY short time to destroy one.

Again I am so sorry for you Michael but on the flip side I am THRILLED Jack is here to help you out.

I just wish they would be a little more accomodating. I have not been difficult, and I do not feel as though I was asking too much. I just wawnt them to come get the tank. They should take example from Elos.

I think they should do anything with-in reason to make this right. I do think that since they are going to be THAT close picking it up IS well within reason. I mean it's not your fault. Elos is a totally different caliber of company which will probably be in business LONG after the others had gone by the wayside.

Still worth the money though.

there are many other reputable builders besides E out there. Michael, you should reconsider your decision about not taking the tank to meet them an hr. away...at least that way you will be done and over with it.
As for boycotting GC..it doesnt work...they will always be in business because, lets face it, they are the cheapest hit or miss!

Booze has a good point. It would SUCK to drive to meet them but then you're doing the "Right Thing" and covering all of your bases for a FULL re-fund too.
