Nope. Not a gold rimmed surgeonfish. But I am still trying to identify what it is I have in my tank.

Eric R from Wet Web thinks it might be a hybrid of A. leucosternon (Powder Blue Tang) and possibly A. pyroferus (Chocolate/Mimic Tang). As a juvenile it's hard to tell.

Could this be a Ctenochaetus?
