Re: Labor of Love. I hope.

I think the rock is good, although I think more life would have survived if I had set up a tank faster. It was pretty sparse pickings in there for a while.

I did throw a shrimp in there every few weeks while curing and the last one produced almost no spike, so I think I have some pavlovian bacteria salivating for the bell.

However I recognize that a bacteria population stabilizes and may need some additional time as life comes in.

Re: Labor of Love. I hope.

I like it, but consider putting corals on there. Looks steep for that to work.

Re: Labor of Love. I hope.

Jeff, I had a great time. Thanks to you and Alonzo for keeping #3 for so long.

My first corals are in, and Demonangel is busy constructing a home.

Very cool, watching him excavate. Moving rocks as big as his head, moving big mouthfuls of aragonite.

It is really nice seeing my Zoas and Hammer from 20 feet away under the lunarlights, lighting up the tank .

Dear John, Jeff, and Alonzo,

It's not nice to talk about things that you have without sharing pictures, and what you had for dinner.

Sincerely,
Barb

Sorry Barb!

I will be trying to find a camera this week. I will post pics then. I picked up a hammer, a pink acan, some zoos, and a few others. I fond a Duncan with 2.5 heads (we'll see about number .5) for Jeff and he gave me #3 (Demonangel)and a...What is that, Jeff, a leather? ...from his biocube.

For dinner I had a Veggieburger, but was seduced by the accompanying French Fries.

Jeff and Alonzo were great hosts. Dharma the dog is a real character.

Veggie Burgers are pure evil. They are a damnable perversion of the Great American Lunch. Anyone who eats them is clearly a communist.
