Re: Octoman's 55 gallons of euphoria

Thanks Craig and Heinz! Heinz, it does look similar to your m. digi...

I've got a few new pictures today. First off, the new sps frags seem to be coming along.

This purple millepora has been encrusting the putty...

The stag has almost completely colored back up and it has been growing...

And of course the weed is growing like a weed. I'm going to do some fragging this weekend...

Re: Octoman's 55 gallons of euphoria

I got two buckets of Reef Crystals in the mail yesterday, so I'm going to make the switch from IO starting with today's water change. I also have about 30 pounds of rock cycling right now that should be ready in a couple more weeks.

Ray has made friends with the new clownfish (I guess Ray is a she now...) and the Flower Nem decided to move out into the light a few days ago.

Here's a new FTS to finish things out today...

Very nice Mark. There's the same urchin at my LFS in their frag tank (pool) that's as big as a volleyball. I love your clam!

Re: Octoman's 55 gallons of euphoria

Thanks Heinz, Nikki, and Craig!!

Today I added a few new pieces of live rock. Since I have a few SPS frags, I wanted to try and provide a good high light/high flow environment for them so I put them all on the left side of the tank where they get good light from all 4 bulbs. I also have a sure-flow mod running on that side now too, that thing really kicks out some flow! I wanted to keep a moderate flow for the rest of the tank, and it seems to have worked out pretty well.

Anyway, enough talk, here's the new FTS (actinics only- clam, hammer, and xenia get grumpy when the day lights go out)
