Re: Octoman's 55 gallons of euphoria

Thanks everyone!

I didn't catch the reflection in the background until after I posted. I was watching Tombstone, had it paused when I took the photo. Good thing that was a PG movie paused in the background...

A new starfish is renting out the basement room of the clamshell lofts. Rudy (the big starfish) is a ruthless landlord, makes him catch food and hand it over to pay rent...

Nice shots Mark.
That white sponge and the white feather duster are really cool looking together under that shroom.

Thanks for looking everybody!! I've got some more photos tonight...

First off, Shrek has proclaimed himself guardian of the Mag-Float. Sometimes when I clean the tank, he nips at it to make it go back to it's proper spot...

Pixie is still elusive as ever, she doesn't hide from me, only the camera. But I did manage to catch her off guard a couple times. She has been putting on some weight ....

Re: Octoman's 55 gallons of euphoria

Thanks Jeff! She spends about half her day up there and she gets mad if there's stuff in her way. Most of the time she's just sleeping next to the tank. Also, if the house lights are off and I'm walking by and don't see her, she uses it as a perch to mount an ambush on me.

I was trying to create dramatic pause between the "stop" and "hammer-time" to capture the true essence of MC Hammer's classic!

Re: Octoman's 55 gallons of euphoria

Thats one lucky cat you have there! Mine has to sit on the TV stand which is about 3 feet away from the tank so she doesnt get the full effect but she still watches! hehe
