I just got my tracking number, I don't know if I'll sleep much between now and " Scheduled Delivery: 03/06/2008". I love Premium Aquatics, they always ship things out so fast!

Don't worry Allen, I sold a bunch of stuff to fund the ACjr, so this won't be going on the CC...

Re: Octoman's 55 gallons of euphoria

I actually netted two clowns out a couple days ago. That's a whole other story. I was amazed at the sudden speed they had, but they weren't anything like the chromis. Those guys must have some lightning in their blood or something.

Ok, well here's the whole other story since I mentioned it. You may remember I rescued the blind tomato clown from certain death a few months ago. He lived in my fuge and got stronger and healthier and eventually his sight came back and I got attached. I wrestled with the idea of trying to introduce him with the other clowns, but it was a bad idea. I finally gave it a try and the other clowns went right after him. I had a decision to make and I decided it was easier to part with my pair of unnamed false percs than Ray the ex-blind tomato clown. So out they went and now he is getting used to the DT. He's already snuggled in the xenia a little so he's a keeper!!

While I'm on the subject, I evicted my CBS also. He has been wonderful, but he chases my yellow tang sometimes. I talked to my LFS about it and the lady there saw one go texas chainsaw massacre on one of her tangs. I've really wanted to add some other shrimp, but they would just be on the buffet for the CBS. So I scooped him out and he lost a claw in the netting process . I'm going to hang on to him (in the fuge) until his claw grows back and then find him a good home.

Now that my bioload has decreased by 4 fish, I'm really considering some TR bangaiis. I've got a diadema urchin and I would love to give it a try at breeding them. I saw a picture of the babies hiding in the spines of the diadema and I was hooked!! Either way, they are beautiful fish and I think they would finish out my tank perfectly. (and I don't plan on ever netting them back out once they're in there...)

Re: Octoman's 55 gallons of euphoria

I got my ACjr installed and it is fantastic! It was well worth the money and makes me feel a little more comfortable about a lot of things. I also picked up a little cleaner shrimp.

I've got a few new photos for tonight.

Here's the new cleaner shrimp with his first customer...

Re: Octoman's 55 gallons of euphoria

Shrek and the conch had a staring contest with the new shrimp refereeing, Shrek was getting cleaned and didn't want to move and eventually the conch had to push him out of the way to get by...

Nice pics, you must run a tight shipover there, putting the shrimp to work right away like that. LOL!

Uh oh, don't tell Barbmazz, she's already after me for my unusually "high standards".

You've got to pay to play in my tank. Otherwise you have to answer to Kitty the "enforcer".
