well i must say, im a very lucky guy with good friends. after all the money spent on this dog i ran out and couldn't finish the bills. I called my friend mark to ask if he knew anyone who was interested in buying my tank and he told me not to do that and paid the bill off in full for me. Its funny you know, you never know who your friends are till you are in trouble. He's a Discus breeder so any one needing discus give him a buzz.(Nassau Discus by Mark Rubanow.516-939-0267 or nassaudiscus@aol.com heres a few pic's of his stuff. Dudes got some setup too!

Beautiful fish! I have to admit that there are few freshwater fish I really like but, these are one that I do. Maybe, after we get moved into our house I'll look into it. Gonna be a couple of years though.

Treasure your friend! Sounds like a wonderful person!

Yes, i went today with my little girl to Brians house and got the caps. there beautiful! 308 miles and a 6 year old went quite well imo. Im setting them up now, since there so big i need to re-aquascape the tank to fit them. Brian was a really nice person and it was a pleasure to meet him. He gave me a green digit frag to boot Oh, and some complementary lime mix.LOL. Thank you Brian i'll give it a try. his home was very nice. It was cool to get out of the madness of NY for the day and get into the country. His dog is wonderful too. My Lee was sitting on the floor and he went over & sat on her like she was a chair! what a funny thing that was to see. Lee loved him. It's a real shame Brian has to take that tank down, he did a wonderful job with it. I have no dout he will get another up and running in boston after some time. So the road trip went well and im going to go get the caps comfortable. i'll fill you all in more later and try to get some pic's up as soon as the tank is settled.

Frankie,
I am glad everything worked out for you and i appreciate your kind words. I do have to say that if Frank didn't come prepared to package and ship those monters, there would have been about 35 frags for sale!!! LOL. Those two large caps were quarter sized frags from Brian_e.....if you ever ned any, he has some quality stuff.

Enojy,
Bryan

Well it's been a long time since i updated this thread and a lot has happened in that time so i'll fill you all in.
After the whole dog incident i wondered off my lifes path. Iv'e seen a lot in life just as you all have and been through the mill a few times. The dog getting hit seemed to have been the one to push me over the edge and life took a turn for me. The night he was hit i was transfering my fish to the 120 from the drum and forgot all about the tank. all the fish got ich and i lost all but the yellow tang and the long nose hawk.
Whatever.
I had a rude awakening during this time and realized i wasn't happy with much in my life. I decided it was time to move on. There's more to the story, a lot, but thats not important here. Im going down to Charleston SC on sunday to start a new company and look for a new home for my family and i. NY has very little left for me and my wife and i agree that its time to move on. So my reef is down and set up at my friends lfs where it wil stay till i am able to retrive it. Im lucky to have these friends, they tought me a lot about reefing and will care well for my livestock. I'll continue to be here and involved in the forums from SC while i serch for a new home for my family and i. when i find it and move them where im going I'll be sure to get the tank up and running better then ever. Wish me luck!
