Well, this morning when i looked into the tank that Willy Nelson song poped right into my head. "On the road again". Seems the LTA is going to keep my busy. To cheer myself up im sharing a picture of my angel

Frankie I don't think the LTA will work on a BB, they like to dig they're foot into the substrate with at least a depth of 4", you can maybe use a plastic container with some sand and se if it'll stay.

great idea cheeks. I'll consider doing that. I just dont want any sand coming out.... But it's worth a try. If not, i'm going to get rid of it.

It's not looking to good yet but may be just to soon. My angel is trying to get to the new guy. Could take some time. i'll give it a week before swaping and getting another one . If the new dude seems to stressed or dosen't eat, i'll bring it back sooner. I really am hoping to pair them though.
I went to my first reef meeting last night in Charleston. Brian the lfs owner was awesome in his topic "coral diseases". I think the topic was a bit to advanced for the group though imo.

frankie- I love the method you are trying.. great idea...

I hope they pair.. or you at least find a pair.. Would be terrific to have Big Angels in a SPS tank..

beautiful fish... Are you gonna try moving some rock around? Just a thought but when I added a new tang and I already had a yellow tang and a blue hippo, and I got a new sailfin, The yellow beat up the new... I was so mad at the yellow I caged it and let the new one in the main tank.... Rearranged some rock , made the old tang seem like he was being added to a new tank and it worked... Maybe the older fish should go in the cage...might work..

I agree with BlueEyes. I have often heard that rearranging the rockwork helps. I have also heard to remove the established fish to a qt tank for several weeks and let the new fish establish himself and make the old fish the newbie. The post was about tangs but seems like good advice regardless.
Best of luck and hope they become more friendly to each other.
