Re: 24 G Mystery Pod

Woohoo, I'm all caught up. Nice little project and the pictures of #7 are a perfect backdrop for the 24!

Re: 24 G Mystery Pod

Well, the pod is still amystery. Nothing has happened in there yet. Just haven't quite figured it all out, however I did get some equipment for it and another little piece of live rock. I got a saphire skimmer from Jack and 2 nano Koralias. So far that is it.

Inside the one box there are those free ghost turds Jack sent me, Thanks Jack! In all those ghost turds there is another box holding the other Korallia. At least I hope there is.

Of course there is the skimmer. I actually think the skimmer is pretty.

I was hoping it would be ready for something new today (the 19th) so that I could begin stocking it on what would have been our anniversary, but my water is screwy. My ph is low and my alk is high. I did get some zoos today that I think I mainly got for this tank. Right now they are in the 65.

Hey Cat, Mike got exactly the same thing from Jack... sorry you didn't have the running commentary while opening the box... "oh, look at this, this is neat, does the pump go under here? yeah, it does... now i gotta make sure it goes in right... blah blah blah..." I should have taped him.

Re: 24 G Mystery Pod

Pictures to come later tonight, I am going to get a manicure...I have 10 long nails that I want to keep that way for awhile. Seems one is always breaking on me, of course than again, thats what happens when you are a "crafty" person. *sigh*

My zoos don't look too great, they aren't really open like they should be and the blues aren't open at all. One rock I have in good flow and the other isn't, so there isn't a happy medium with either rock. Silly zoos!

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Re: 24 G Mystery Pod

Alright. But it won't be the same.
I'm imagining a huge fat pony in the 24g pod.
It's not pretty. I must say.

Re: 24 G Mystery Pod

Ok, here is the rock of little blue zoos that I got for the 24, right now they are happy in the 65 waiting to go to their new home. I also got another rock of zoos, they are brownish with yellow mouths, I got them for the all bright yellow ones that were on the rock with them. the yellow ones are contrary. I will get a picture of them another night when the yellow ones are open.
