Ok, time for a little clarification. First, Jack is the tank installation, plumbing design/set up, and rock designer. HE has done an amazing job (thanks honey Mom chose her fish, and I put in the corals, except a couple of them.

As with all tanks, there are pros and cons. First the pros:
1. LED lighting
2. External pump and sump - therefore silent inside
3. Great spot in the house, sunken room with large curved couch for total
viewing and relaxing
4. Inhabitants stable currently and get along
5. Corals have adjusted to the system and are healthy
6. Overall tank is very well designed: a lot of caves for the fish and room for
corals to grow.

As for disadvantages:
1. Live rock came with bristle worms and some have grown very large and
have eaten fish (which is another reason I am designing my own
rock work).
2. Would rather have the 400 watt LED so that clams would do well on the
sand bed and if had better flow, would be able to have more SPS.
3. Because of the distance between the pump and the tank, flow is less and
limits corals to primarily LPS and softies.

The rock actually came out of her existing 90 gallon reef which there rock came from a mutual friend

Plenty of pods for the manderins. The wrasse how ever is not a leopard it is a dragon meat eater extreme however vicki's mom spoiled it so I think it eat anything except meat. It was origannlay to get the bristle worms under control now it is just another fish

How do you keep your crabs with the dragon wrasse. Mine loved them. I also had one to deal with the bristleworms years ago.

like I said Vicki's Mom feeds it so much it doesnt eat what it should only if you put food in the tank will it eat

I'm afraid my six line and mandarin will be that way too! My dragon wrasse hunted all the time, he was amazing - eliminated each and every bristleworm in the tank.

That wants to make I gladly Jack. I already so often was in CA in the last years. Usually I have vocational dates in San Jose or LA or however in San Francisco. I always connect my stays with some days vacation. Sequoia and Kings Canyon Nat. I wanted to visit, in addition so far never the time was unfortunately sufficient. On one of my next journeys to California I come gladly once to you and Vicky.
