I always do I have any eye to do it with out water besides it makes less of a sand strom that way

OK today I actually used the part way complete auto water changer it worked perfect with only one snag. My son tried to have the water from the waste water holding tank run up hill. Other than that it worked great. I am going to plumb a MAG9.5 into the sump for the draining of the sump. I will have a MAG7 for salt mixing. The whole process took about 15 minutes & I didnt have to lift a finger to dump water. That was a great feeling. I am actually thinking of the drain from the sump line to be to the exact height of the water in the mix tank so if someone lets it go abit long then shuts off the pump it will syphon back into the sump to thw perfect level.

There will be FTS posted tomorrow night. Next weekend pictures of the water change in progress.

Well I have completed the rough in of the plumbing to the auto water change system today. The plan is to glue & place it tomorrow in the AM. I am waiting on a few pumps to hard plumb into the system. I will ppost some new pictures saturday night along with the tank parameters as requested. Maybe even a few FTS if I can get the photographer to shoot some for me.

OK I was asked awhile back what the water parameters were like in the tank this is as of today. Ammonia 0, Nitirte 0, Nitrate 0, Phosphate 0 Salinity 1.025, Calcium & Magnisium Vicki is going to test tomorrow. She is also supposed to take some FTS for me to post as well.

I have completed the Auto Water Change System it works like a champ. I am missing 2 photographs to complete the photo journal of this system.

I will say this I service alot of tanks & this is only the 3rd one that I do not have to carry or dump water while doing the other 2 are on a much larger scale.
