Good night Allen.

People come into our lives for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Ya know, that second to last picture looks like a head with two eyes, a mouth and two braids sticking out the sides! Kinda reminds me of a Aztec statue with a mole
Looking good buddy!

Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change.
Allen's home-made formula...(-NO3=WC%)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!

Oh boy. Sorry Al. It was in the 70's today and sunny. Let me know when it warms up again so we can try again.
And good night

Hey allen, I know you have already been asked this, but how did you get your rock column to stay up?

Re: BigAl's slow chronicle . . .

Good morning gang

Yeah it looks like Mother Nature is trying to see how MANY different weather conditions she can pack into ONE week for us. We almost hit 65 on Saturday after a brutally cold Friday night (was 28 Saturday morning). Then Sunday rain. Monday CLEAR sunny and 62. Over night severe thunderstorm and rain like crazy. Today's high was last night at midnight (45) and we are under a Heavy Snow Advisory for tonight with tomorrow's HIGH being 30. It's just too crazy! I don't know what coat to wear in the morning for the afternoon!!

Michael I have the rock columns "pegged & glued". The two on the right have short pegs between the rock work and in some places reef e[epoxy. The "Rock Tree" on the left is drilled continuously top to bottom with a 5/8's or 3/4 acrylic rod (can't remember.. I ordered one of each) which is firmly anchored into a hidden flat rock "plate" under the sand. I drilled through all of them one at a time and arranged/offset them as I went. When it was how I thought it should be I went back and put some small "gobs" of epoxy to maintain the structure and look.

I hope this sheds some light and my PM's are always open if you need anything.

Good Morning WORLD
