Re: Akwar'eum

WOW!!! When you come up, and Scott comes out, you two will have to give Patti and I some lessons. We have a great camera, not so great of a lense yet, but we really don't know how to use it yet.

Awesome pics, Greg!!!

Nice photos!
You should mess around with your camera more often.

They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Re: Akwar'eum

Thanks guys! I'd really like to get a 2x converter so I can take some freaky closeups. I tried to shoot through my magnifying glass, and it worked a little but was a little ...not fuzzy, but hazy maybe. I'll work on that some more and try to perfect it.

Re: Akwar'eum

How is the house hunt going? It's really funny but when I sold my last house and started looking for a new one, the requirement that I had was the house needed to have a LARGE room for a theater room. Lucky for me, this house has another large room next to the theater room that I'm turning into our aquarium room now.

How many bathrooms does it have? I don't care.
How many bedrooms does it have? I don't care.
How big is the kitchen? I don't care.

In your case, does it have room(s) for a LARGE aquarium? If the answer to this question is YES, that put an offer in.

Well, you get the idea.

Re: Akwar'eum

It's funny you should ask Terry...I am SO EXCITED!!! We found a very nice house with 4.15 beautiful wooded acres at the end of a culdesac. There is a large wall in the dining area and on the opposite side of the wall is a convenient garage just begging for an 8' aquarium. They were asking 225 for the place which was too much, we offered 175 hoping they would come back with 200 then get it for 190. Well, they came back with 182.5!!!! I'm out of my mind excited and can't think of anything else. I'll be posting pics as soon as I have some to show.

Now, to bring you down a little, ..Tonya goes later today for her colonoscomy consultation. Wish her luck!

First, my good thoughts and intentions for Tonya later today (time, please?).

Isn't an 8ft tank a little small? House sounds really nice, especially the acreage. Looking forward to the pictures, but what else would you expect?! LOL

Re: Akwar'eum

Tonya, you're in my prayers.

I'm sure everything will be just perfect.

GREAT NEWS about the house, Greg! I'm STOKED for you! So where are you going to buy the tank from? What are you going to use for a refugium/skimmer/sump? What's going to be the theme for the tank?

Current 75g DT will become refugium
