Re: Akwar'eum

i know how rough it can be moving into a new house, they are probably working themselves to sleep. you really have to be exhausted when you're too tired to sit down a chat with the RS family. hope all is going well Greg.

Re: Akwar'eum

Good point, Scott. We could come down and you could show her what you want done, she could go at it, and we could go LFS hopping.

Re: Akwar'eum

Highjack away Patti! I've been out of touch. I'm borrowing my sons internet and computer to check in. We've gotten lots moved. Not much painting though, all I've got is the master bed room done and we are moved into it. I've been on the phone with our internet provider for hours trying to get connected but haven't gotten it done yet. It will come though. All the dry goods for the tank are at the house. I'll be back with you all soon I promise. Loce ya!!

Re: Akwar'eum

I Have INTERNET ACCESS!!! It took HOURS and HOURS on the phone with India to get this resolved. BTW, I think having to talk to people who cant speak english to get problems resolved it a big 'ol FU from the service companies to their customers here in the states. They are polite and all, but the language barrier is a huge issue.

Tonya seems to be well. The stress in her life has diminished somewhat and I think that has helped. She has gone back to work at the Bar/Restaraunt and can pay here own way again.

Terry, my back HURTS!! Holy smoke man, how do you do it. I'm eating Ibuprofin like it's candy.

I've got the disposal unit in, the dishwasher hooked up, the hall painted, a new threshold down and some other odds and ends done. Oh, BTW, I was in the attic the other day tracing a phone wire and my foot went through the ceiling over the kitchen. Man was I PO'd.The insulation in this house is the blown in kind and it went freakin' EVERYWHERE!! OMG. I've got it patched but haven't finished it yet.

I pick up the new gas range, and my shop tools tonight. The gas company is sheduled for next week. We got a grill for the deck with one side gas and the other is for charcoal, it's pretty cool. We will have the gas company hook it to the house tank.

The tank at Chris' is suffering a bit. I try to take care of it while I'm there but it's tough. Chris opened the window the other night while it was 30 something degrees and the tank got down to 74*. I sure hope he doesn't kill everything. It's not that he's trying to, it's just that they don't matter to him so he doesn't think about them. I have a 30g tall here I need to clean up and set up so I can get them here.

That's about it. Thanks all for the loce and patience. I'll be back soon!

Re: Akwar'eum

i've had to deal with the "over-seas" customer service before, i got so fustrated that i just hung. after an hour of cooling down i called back, this time i got someone who was in the states.

thats sucks about the kitchen ceiling, i'm always nervous that i will do that while in my attic. the grill sounds really cool, havent seen that one yet.
