| Manta Ray | Re: Akwar'eum Tonya had her colonoscopy and the results were that she is extremely healthy. Doc thinks she may have had salmonella poisoning and those tests havent come back yet. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes!! We go Monday to start the money ball rolling at the bank. The Howards (we are buying the house from) are vendors in our store. I was framing a photo of Connie (wife) in her wedding dress from forty years ago after I restored it (it was damaged in a fire). I presented it to her today and she said let me get my check book out and I told her that here money was no good here, she should consider it a gift from us and she cried and cried and hugged and hugged! They are wonderful people and are so happy for us, and they really wanted us to have the house. It's a warm and fuzzy day in spite of the torrential rain and cold.

| Manta Ray | Re: Akwar'eum Hmm, I wonder! A new LFS called "The Reef Store" has opened nearby and I may go check it out after we close the store. I've still got a gift card for Red Lobster burning a hole in my pocket so we can kill two birds with one stone! Pics Tomorrow! after the bank trip of course. We have been prequalified so hopefully it won't be a nightmare. I remember now why I stopped changing a gallon per day in the Akwar'eum. It's a PITA to remember everyday! It's easier to do 10 gallons one day a week. I may get to that tonight. Chow for now!

| Manta Ray | Re: Akwar'eum TANK STUFF: I did a 10g waterchange tonight, expecting a busy day tomorrow. My parameters are very skewed tonight. I know my calc got low between the running out of C Chloride and getting more. Heck, everything is off, just look: Alk:9dKH NH3-4:0 NO2: trace (ordering new kit soon) NO3:1 Calc:310 Mag:1225 Salinity:35ppt Ph: 7.95-8.15 The calc, mag,and alk are out of balance...AGAIN! Now that I have the calcium chloride I can work on getting that up. I should have been working on the magnesium but have been rather busy lately although thats no excuse, either make time or give it up (personal admonition and motivation). This chem stuff is a nightmare for me. I have to stay on top of it constantly or it gets out of whack. Well, I'll be reading the Farley articles again...
