Yes, pictures are as always very beautiful! Heinz, is it my imagination, or is your English getting better?

10 dKh is not bad Greg, there you are right. Indeed, I had been able to reach during the last months always max. 8 dKh, in spite of dosage.

...mhhh hopefully Vicky, the more one writes and reads, the better it should become. I hope it becomes better a little. Sometimes I still look according to the right word, colloquial language and the at school learnt one is just not the same one.

Sometimes it still confuses me, but it becomes better and better.

BTW ... thank you for stopping by Vicky.

Hey Heinz,

I googled "Alveopora tiziardi" and your ReefSanctuary thread is the ONLY result!

Can you tell me more about this coral, I would really like to see if it is something I might be able to add to my tank.

Throughly impressed as always,

Drew

Hi Drew,

Upps .... there has "crept" a small "i" into the name. Sorry Drew, my mistake. The right name is Alveopora tizardi, then under this name you also find all required information.

Re: HMA’s 115 gal. Reef Tank

I haven't yet tried to get the ingredients here in the US though I did go to the link about the supplements. I need to quit being lazy and at least find out how much it would cost for what I need. I love the thought of making a years worth all at once and nobody can argue with your results.
Stunning as always.

Hello Lynn,

Because I was asked now already by some RS friends by PM where one the chemicals can shop, I have looked for traders in the USA. I could find out in the meantime two on-line shops in the USA they sell all required chemicals and other supplements. One gets the chemicals everything with "GETTANKEDAQUARIUMS.com" and the Trace elements and Amino acids in "dark lord coral"!

Re: HMA’s 115 gal. Reef Tank

Once again it is Friday and with it WC day. Quite slowly the values approach to the standard values again. Calcium is almost perfect and magnesium also almost again in the optimum range. The rearrangement to the additional food of the corals with Amino acids is to be valued therefore as successful. Optically it becomes apparent mostly with the LPS corals by even more intense colours and expansion.

The current values of the 115gal tank:

Ammonia : 0
Nitrites : 0
Nitrates : 5
Phosphates : 0,02
Salinity : 1.0235
Alk : 9 dkH
Cal : 428 ppm
Mag : 1360 ppm
Water : RO/DI
Ph – 8.1 to 8.3
Supplements: Balling Complete +Plus ( Ca, Mg, Na, Trace Elements and Amino Acids)

.... and as usual pics.

Ciliopagurus strigatus .....

and my QT
