Re: HMA’s 115 gal. Reef Tank

Today I did a small swarm Sphaeramia nematoptera - Pajama cardinals (6) and a Naso elegans from the QT into my 115gal. A new Toby I will rather not keeping the next time probably again. All animals acclimatized ,they eat very well and plentifully.

And because I was already once in my LFS, I also still some "beauties" bring along. Here they are:

Favia speciosa

Acanthastrea hemprichii

Alveopora tiziardi

They look simply crazy, as I find, under the new Giesemann/fauna marine bulbs.

Execellent additions Heinz.
I particularly like the Acanthastrea.

What program do you use for translation Heinz?
Your last sentence said they look "mad" under the new bulbs when It probably should have said "crazy", to use modern vernacular.
Unless they were upset under the new lights?

Spectacular coral specimens Heinz. The shape of the first Favia is very sculptural. happy to hear that things are getting back in order. The tang and Cardinal don't look any worse for the wear.

OK Vic, maybe i am "old fashion" ? I am using only sometimes a dictionary of the TU Chemnitz, BEOLINGUS.

My school and university time already are a few years ago, in the meantime has changed also very much in the German colloquial language.

Thank you Scott. I love the Alveopora, the color ist simply wonderful and unfortunately not good to see on the Pics. The middle of the single polyps are dark green, unfortunately the colour is totally illuminated from new bulbs .

Very beautiful, Heinz! I really am liking those Pajama Cardinals the more I see them. And that alveopora is amazing!

Are PJ Cardinals a good choice for a clam themed tank, do you know?

Yepp, Cardinals are a very good choice for a clam themed tank, they eat ONLY Plankton. Cardinals hide during the day mostly between corals. My Cardinal school is most at night active, during the day one sees them almost always between the corals.
