| Beautiful Katamari | Re: A 55G link in the Golden Chain No Kathy I left work a little after 5pm and I did stop at Trader Joes first. I needed Eggs if I wanted breakfast tomorrow. Alonzo was home and did a great job in acclimation the corals.

| Beautiful Katamari | Re: A 55G link in the Golden Chain Thanks again everyone for stopping by and checking out the new corals. The Blue Duncan frags started to open over night. This morning I popped on the actinic lights to snap a pic. Still cant judge their color yet but I can see some blue going on that isnt just the actinics.

| Madame Klanganator | Re: A 55G link in the Golden Chain Jeff your new stuff is really nice! Glad everything worked out okay, and good for Alonzo for doing a good job. What can you tell me about Duncans? I haven't read much about them yet, but I loce how they look.. they add a different texture to the tank, and the blues are really nice. I also need some green and/or yellow in the tank. I'll be reading about them more, but I'd loce some words about your experience with them. I know you have halides... do you know if they do okay under a lot of T5's?

| Beautiful Katamari | Re: A 55G link in the Golden Chain Barb Ii have read the Duncanopsamia axifuga aka Duncans aka Whisker Corals aka Daisey corals naturally are found in low to medium light (found in deeper waters) but can adjust to higher light levels. I think they could do well under PCs. Here is a previous thread from RS that Heinz gives some great info! duncanopsammia-axifuga I have found mine to be little piggies when it comes to eating, I have fed them mysis as well as some of my homemade seafood slurry. Mine must be teenagers cuz they eat like they are bottomless pits.

Thanks, Jeff, and Thanks to Heinz by association for the link. I'll do some reading! Initially, sounds like it might be something I can consider.

| Beautiful Katamari | Re: A 55G link in the Golden Chain The "blue" duncans have opened. They have a more greenish tint to them than blue but They may just be stressed from fragging and shipping. The Duncans in the back are the ones I have had for a few weeks A couple shots of the Acan Lord too
