Re: A 55G link in the Golden Chain

Thanks again everyone for stopping by and checking out my pics.

I am amazed by the montipora. It grows pretty fast.
The Open Brain is my fav too. I wish I could get a pic that really does it justice.
It gets so big when the lights are on.

I had been pretty concerned about the playgyra. He didnt seem happy. I never noticed any change in him even when I tried to feed him. Every month or so I would try him in a different location and I finally found a spot he likes.
I can tell he is alive and when I feed him the swells up to where you can hardly see any of his blue coloring.

I have ordered a media reactor that is arriving today so that I can actively run carbon. It is one of the measures I want to take before I try a clam again.
I also have stocked my fishy medicine chest so i am ready for the QT tank when it finishes cycling. I have the QT up and cycling for a couple of weeks now.

Re: A 55G link in the Golden Chain

This thread has it all!

Heinz has been lured over to the darkside. "The Bomb?" What is the German translation of that?

Bob's angry, Bob smash! lol

And beautiful pictures of extremely happy corals.

They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

I believe the German is "Die Bombe"

Bob smashing things is not anything out of the ordinary. Bob mit die bombe, is etwas vor Angst zu haben.

Re: A 55G link in the Golden Chain

I loce having multiple languages spoken in this thread, English, German, and Disney! Plus the BOB dialect.

I have now spent all but about $50 of my economic stimulus check on my tank ~1/3 of it on equipment and supplies and the rest on livestock.
I Placed an order with Mr. Coral for some sweet Aussie corals.
An Acan Lord, a Blasto, and a frag of blue duncans (only a couple of heads - not the big colony) I was very tempted to get the big colony of blue duncans but I really wanted the Acan and the blasto. It was tough to choose which Acan Lord to get too. I picked out 5 of them and had Alonzo choose which one he liked the most. He picked the one that I was leaning towards.

These pics are Mr. Coral's.
