| Beautiful Katamari | Re: A 55G link in the Golden Chain Melanie someone must have buried that powerhead ring in the sand. Little One is as sweet as he is cute too. Last night I got a fair pic of Mantis #2 while he was out and about. ![]()

| Beautiful Katamari | Re: A 55G link in the Golden Chain Thanks Lorraine. Yes the TBS goodies have done well. I lost the red tree sponge and another red sponge. The 4 shaving brush macro and 1 halimedia did not make it. However a small piece of HH red macro has done well and is now a nice size bush. No we still have the lost dog. We are calling him Little One. He is so sweet his family has to be looking for him. I hope they see our posters soon.

| Over Achiever | Re: A 55G link in the Golden Chain Jeff the tank looks great! The flower anemone is real sweet. Was that a TBS HH? I glad that you were there to foster Little One until his family could be located. What a lucky dog, who knows what would have become of him. If you like Japanese Pop music, you need to pick up a Pizzicato Five CD. Great Japanese Pop! |

| Beautiful Katamari | Re: A 55G link in the Golden Chain I do have a Pizzicato five album - on cassete tho so I think it is in storage somewhere. I also am familiar with Cibo Mato which I saw in concert a number of years ago. Sean Lennon played with them. They were a lot of fun.

| Beautiful Katamari | Re: A 55G link in the Golden Chain So since Scott asked me recently about my fish wish list I have been doing some research and window shopping at Divers Den. I really like the longnose hawkfish and I have also realy been liking some of the Wrasses like the exquisite, christmas, and several of the different fairy wrasses. I have a pair of Amphiprion ocellaris clowns in the nano so I dont know if I want clowns in the 55 too. Maybe something a little more intriguing like picasso or jigsaw clowns I really like the Blue Spot Jaw Fish but at the time I only have a 2 inch deep sand bed so I would have to at least make it deeper in parts of the tank. Plus while the BSJF is amazing they have a poor survival rate. They are hard to keep for the long term and since I do not really have a lot of SW fish keeping experience. I dont think we would be a good match right now. I hate to admit that. So I thought I would ask you guys and gals for some suitable suggestions? Let me know what you think.

| Beautiful Katamari | Re: A 55G link in the Golden Chain I have no Fish in the 55g at all. 2 small smashers of the mantis shrimp variety so no real threat to a fish. 55g tank with a 15g sump (10g actual water) lots of light. 2 x 250w, 20h mh + 4 x 96 w actinic pc Will want clams after tank matures

| Regular Guy Moderator ![]() | Re: A 55G link in the Golden Chain Flasher/Fairy Wrasses are very colorful and active. They cocoon in the sand bed when they sleep, would your smashers be a threat?

| Beautiful Katamari | Re: A 55G link in the Golden Chain the mantis are nocturnal. They go into their rock and close the door tight. now the question is will the mantis get up and go out and about the tank before the wrasses wake up? I am feeding the mantis so they dont go totally balistic on the snail and hermit population and this seems to be working.
