Re: Chronicle to Christopher's 1st Reef Adventure!

Chris. I have a Red Sea Berlin HOB Skimmer that I am not using. I will give it to you if you want it. I have been using it on my 50 gallon tank, and I have taken it off. I know that they are not the BEST skimmers but it gets the job done. Just let me know.
The one I have is the HOB Version. They say is it rated to 250 gallons but that is way off, I think It would work fine on a 20gallon.

Kathy also kindly offered to donate a skimmer to Gee Whiz Its Me. Christopher, isn't this the best group of people on the net?

Re: Chronicle to Christopher's 1st Reef Adventure!

Okay! Well luckily I am already doing daily water changes! I think I am going to be getting an airstone for added oxygen. That might be one of the problems... If he gets too bad, I might have to trade him in or something...

Re: Chronicle to Christopher's 1st Reef Adventure!

When I first got my 12 gallon nano, I had a royal gramma. He got ICK about two weeks after I got him. I was devastated i did not know what to do. I got some garlic and hoped for the best. As long as they do not stop eating they usually get over ick. I still have that little fish today, and he is still one of my favorites.~Michael

Overcrowding or too small of a tank can lead to excessive stress and weaken the immune system of fish. I hope the rest of your fish don't become infected.

Re: Chronicle to Christopher's 1st Reef Adventure!

Today, the gramma seems to have lost all ich spots and strange swimming activity! Strange? The bicolor is SO cute, but he will only eat off of the glass and rocks... Hasn't eaten frozen food as of yet...
