Re: Yes! Everybody who likes new pics of a new tank

I think Royal grammas are one of the prettiest fish in the hobby. Congratulations on the evolution of your tank! Looking forward to pictures of your awesome reef!

Royal grammas are rock dwelling fish. Sometimes they are seen hanging upside down under a rocky out cropping. Give him a day or two, he'll come out and hang around his newly staked out territory. Especially when food goes by!

Congrats on the Gramma and cleanup crew! Check your water parameters in the next couple days to make sure your cycle is good, but I don't foresee any problems. Did you do a water change?

Grammas are really gorgeous fish. He'll pop out soon enough, and you'll tend to see him out and about most of the day.

Since you forgot the name of the snails, how about calling them "Harley" and "Scooter" lol... Might they be Mexican Turbo?

Looked for new photos of your tank but you must not have any posted yet. Can't wait to see them.

Glad things are coming together for you.

Rebekah-I just chased them with a net lol

Anselth- He still sadly has not made an appearance; I mean I haven't even seen a bit of him at all! I hope he just found a good hiding spot...

Caitrina-HAHA I think they are Mexican Turbos!

Not that I know of. Hermits can and will eat snails and corals if they're hungry or easy targets.

Have you tried feeding him? I'm kind of surprised, the ones I've seen are all pretty bold.

Re: Yes! Everybody who likes new pics of a new tank

I moved around my rocks, AND NO ROYAL GRAMMA!!! I am really scared! I looked around, but I didn't see him out of the tank dead. I am convinced that I should fill a cooler with freshwater and put all of my live rock and snails and crabs in it! I am so sad and upset and confused...

Re: Yes! Everybody who likes new pics of a new tank

Your tank looks really nice. Hope you find your fish. It's got to be in there, hiding somewhere.

Note what Dentoid says here, that very well could explain it. I have had fish hide for 3-4 days sometimes and I thought I could just chalk it up to a loss only to one day look in and see the silly things and then disappear again. They had just found good hiding spots. Notice he said they have also been seen hanging upside down under rock....don't be discouraged ....you are doing a great job!
