Dang Jason, I love it! Great FTS and I really like the equipment shots! That's a heck of a lot of light over the fuge, you should be able to house most anything there. What light cycle do you use? And what injects air into the skimmer? a needlewheel or an airstone? or something else?

Re: Triggerjays new 125g Build thread

John Kelly, is a friend of mine. He is known in the saltwater world for his research on goniopora. his website is Goniopora.org:::Goniopora Reference Web Site . This particular reactor was on his display tank before he took it down. he is currently taking a break from having a tank setup, and often comes over to give me advise on mine. the reactor is fairly simple. the media is ARM. mag drive pump, and some plumbing.

framerguy, the skimmer pump is a sedra 9000 needlewheel. works great! thanks for the compliments on the pics.

Re: Triggerjays new 125g Build thread

oh yeah, lighting on the fuge is the same as the main tank. I used to run the old light reverse cycle, to help prevent a large PH swing, but John explained to me that plants put off oxygen while photosynthesizing, duh, and the oxygen would benefit the main display more in the day while metabolism is at its peak.

Candy cane:

Acro.. It was white with purple tips, but browned out:

Just a neat peice of junk coral.. this would be great for a nano:

My Blastos:

to be continued...

Re: Triggerjays new 125g Build thread

What kind of camera are you using? If its a canon hit the menu button and select stitch assist. When you take pictures make sure they are all at the same hight and start shooting from left to right or right to left. then when you upload it on your computer it will recognize the format and put them together for you.

If not then I dont know...haha. Nice tank! Looks liek you switched out the overflow.

Re: Triggerjays new 125g Build thread

camera is a sony cybershot dsc-h2. no option like that. I had to switch out the overflow... it was WAY too big, and ugly! I can take some better pics, and get you some dimensions on the reactor if u want JoJo.. its not on his site... ttyl!
