Re: Triggerjays new 125g Build thread

lol, seems like yesterday I had a little neglected 29g sitting in the corner with two lone clowns in it..The same pair that is in these pics. They are about 5 years old now.
I still have yet to get my MH canopy complete. I still have the canopy from my 55g, and a current PC fixture on it.. Maybe I should go finish it up today! I am curious what it looks like with MH over it. My T-5 actinics came in the other day, so I have everything to get it completed.. Just been too busy to work on it.

Re: Triggerjays new 125g Build thread

Thanks! I really wish I could say its mine,... but, it's not. About 2 months ago, a guy on our club forum said he was moving, and he needed someone to watch his corals for 2 weeks.. (The brain is his too),.. Anyways, 2 weeks came and went, so I PMed him, and he said he has no place to live (have no idea what happened to where he was moving), and told me to give them away. I told him I would keep them until he got things back in order, and got a tank set back up.. Thanks for the compliments guys! I almost have my canopy done. Hopefully it will be on the tank tomorrow.

Re: Triggerjays new 125g Build thread

WOW! I have been so busy setting up the round robin website, I managed to overlook my chronicle. Time for an update. I really don't have time to go snap some pics now, but I have added a few new fish.. My total stocking list is as follows:
Stars:
Sand sifting (over a year old now)
Red (looks orange) linka

Fish
false perc clown pair (5 years old now!)
Orchid dottyback
Diamond watchman goby
4 blue chromis (new) By new, I mean in the last 3 months
Powder brown tang (new)
2 Pajama cardinals (new)
2 clown gobys (new)
Foxface (new)
I think thats it in the main display... then I went out and got a pair of maroon clowns that live in my 55g fuge, and had an impulse buy on a mimic tang, that I could not keep in the main display due to the powder brown. So, it is in one of my 40g breeder tanks, and I also have an aquired saddled toby puffer down there that a club member no longer wanted. I have not added much in the way of new corals, except the trumpet from Kathy, Monti from Frankie, and the frags from the round robins.
Thanks for looking!

Jason

Re: Triggerjays new 125g Build thread

It was my first WELL planned build. My other stuff was kind of thrown together. Thanks for the compliment. Good luck with your new setup!
