Re: Here We Go Again!

Lots of food for thought. I'm glad I have 2 or 3 months to decide since I'm restricting myself until after x-mas.

This is HARD! Of course, no one is cheering for the neon goby I see. ;O)

Kole tangs are very nice too. In some respects (algae grazing, peacefullness) they would be my first choice.

I LOVE Kole Tangs! They are gorgeous! Iwanted one but ended up with a Scopas instead, oh well. I didn't know that the pink meant cyanide!! I saw one that was very light pink last week and wondered what was wrong with it, so sad

Great pictures Melanie!
Take the toadstool pic and rotate 180 degrees. It will look like an "M" and you can make it your avatar.

I love my 6 line. He was last to go in so everyone else has there own territory. He's great. He zips around on patrol. Hovers over the anemone flirting with death. And he has that sinister look like he's up to something. lol

They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Re: Here We Go Again!

I vote for a Blue Spot jawfish!
Oh, that's not on the list. Can't hurt to try.

If you are only adding one more fish, make it a good one. You could have 2 neon gobies for the bioload price of one six line wrasse, and 4 neons for the bioload price of one Kole tang. Therefore, if you get the Kole you have absolutely no more room. If you get the Neon then you at least have some room for future additions (Blues Spot) and or growth of the existing fish.

Scott, I would LOVE to have a BSJF, but he wouldn't be happy with my 2" of sand!

Re: Here We Go Again!

Hmmm, I've heard that the 6lines can get quite mean as they get larger, although some people get lucky with them. I'm still on the ledge about adding one to my tank to try and deal with my isopod friends.

What do you think you'd rather look at: more smaller fish or one larger fish?

this might help you decide which way to go.

Re: Here We Go Again!

I had two four line wrasses (RIP, carpet ate them) that had nice dispositions, typically they're not as rambunctious as 6 lines but supposedly eat the same stuff. That said, I still like the Kole better.
(And a Tomini even better)
BTW, Nice pics!!

Re: Here We Go Again!

Yeah Craig! This is the new camera. I can't wait until I'm REALLY proficient with it. I don't know all the cool functions yet.

Argh, don't ask about the cyano. ha ha ha ha. Well, I can say it's not WORSE. I'm going to syphon it today or tomorrow when I do my water change.
