not negative, when they are very new the karma has no impact, accept it as good, if its green its good, if its orange its bad, if its dark it nothing, unless your whiskey or wit and thats very confusing lol

Re: Here We Go Again!

Was it a red dot or just kinda grayish?
When someone is brand new it shows as a kinda grey dot until they have a few posts.
I freaked out the first time too thinking it was negative. Now I have gotten negative and the dot is red not the grayish color.

Re: Here We Go Again!

You really are getting good at this photography thing- the one handed, from the hip, while feeding a fish, over open water shot. Impressive.

Re: Here We Go Again!

It was gray. So maybe it was good? It's just always been green before.

he he. Thanks Scuba Drew and AqtcJak. Yes, that was one handed over the open water praying I didn't drop my new camera shot while I fed the fish.

Today I bought a new bulb for my T5s, that carbon/phosban combo from Seachem, a Hydor Koralia 1, a blue ricordia, a shroom/feather duster rock, and a lawnmower blenny! I'm drip acclimating the living things now.

I cleaned the tank thoroughly today and did about a 5 gallon water change. I took my brown/orange, brown/teal zoa and split it into about 10 frags and placed the around the tank. I also made one little frag of the zoa for the Round Robin. I needed to make sure I could do it!

I also did a 50 percent water change and thorough cleaning of my QT to ready it for my new fish. It's been over a month since my neon goby died so the ich should have died without a host.

This will be the first week I'm using a combo of Instant Ocean and Reef Crystals.

Test Results Today at 7:00 PM:

dKH 8
Mg 1200*
*supplemented 20 g. Mg

Re: Here We Go Again!

The new stuff I bought yesterday

Shroom Feather Rock (I don't have high hopes for the feather, because as some of you know, I think free feather dusters live forever and purchased ones die.)

Blue Ricordia (I've been wanting one of these since the first time I saw one.)

Lawnmower blenny in the QT. (He is so good at camoflage that you can barely see him in this photo.)

Re: Here We Go Again!

I'd say that's quite an improvement. Don't worry about negative feedback from a newbie, I gave Lynn some too a while back. Had her concerned too until I sent a PM saying I hit the wrong button.

Re: Here We Go Again!

That is a great idea of doing the recap like that! I think that once my tank gets going that I will steal your idea, if that's ok!? I love seeing your tank grow, it is so awesome!
