| Golden Moray | Re: Here We Go Again! Hello Melanie, do you have an white layer on the Corals and LR? That looks more like a bacteria bloom. Surely not too much calcium. Precipitations of the sea salt can be, should you have made a WC today. I had comparable already with a badly mixed packing sea salt.

| Golden Moray | Re: Here We Go Again! Thanks guys for your tips about the Ca or whatever it may be. ---------------------- I'm very interested in my "accidental" fragging of my shroom. I cut it at the base with very sharp scissors and moved it to an area I liked better. I assumed the very little bit left over would dissolve. Yet, it has become a new mushroom in only a week! This photo was taken the day after I cut it off. (9/30/07) ![]() 10/2/07 (3 days) ![]() 10/7/07 (one week) ![]() |

| Golden Moray | Re: Here We Go Again! Christopher, that would be cool for your shroom. Don't forget to take lots of pics if you do it. What I DIDN'T show you is the original shroom takes a bit of a beating when you clip it. Takes awhile to bounce back. Mine's still suffering a little. Hopefully it will attach itself and thrive eventually. |

| Golden Moray | Re: Here We Go Again! It's bubble algae. The rock was infested with it. Every couple of of weeks I pull it out and scrape them off with a razor blade. So far, knock on wood, it hasn't spread anywhere else. My mythrax crabs eat some of it as well. |
