I'm really diggin' your tank's aquascape! That QT is a cutie! Just wanted to say how much I respect you for turning your tank around, great job!

What a change. Great job and I know it is just going to keep getting better. If there were a prize for most improvement in a short time you win hands down.
I love the scape. Lots of caves and stuff for everybody to hide in.

Very nice. Your tank looks great. Now you have a reef to be proud of. Just continue to take your time. You will really feel a sense of accomplishment as you watch the critters you added grow. No doubt about the most improved award. You definitely won it. You've come a long way in a very short period of time and have learned a lot. A far cry from the lady who thought that she couldn't do anything right and was ready to give up. You should be very proud of your accomplishments, I know that we all are proud of you!

Thank you so much guys!! It means the world to me. You all have been my biggest supporters and without you, I would never have the tank I have now. Yes, I almost gave up a few times. I got frustrated. But you all kept cheering me on. It's still a work in progress, but I'm so excited to see photographic proof of how far I've come in just one month! (Feels like much longer, doesn't it?)

Yes Steve, I'd have to say I'm living proof of the power of RS. I am so glad I took a pic of the crash so we all could see the difference.

I will finally be able to add another fish to the tank this weekend. I'm moving the clown over to the DT after a long period of QT and replacing him with a Royal Gramma in the QT. He'll be glad to be out of the 10 gal. I bet!

Oh, and my other project this weekend (beside water change) is working on my fuge. If all goes well, I should be able to hook it up by Sunday. Woo hoo! If all doesn't go well, it will be another week or so.

That is just amazing! I can't say enough how good it makes me feel to see such beauty come out of chaos. I think I'm going to cry now!

Thank you! But I have to say, the rock was curing for about a month and that makes all the difference in the world. If you add 1 lb.+ per gallon of fully cured LR plus live sand, your cycle is much shorter than if you do it another way.

It's funny, but when I started here at RS I had no interest in getting corals. A few days later I thought MAYBE someday I might get corals. Within no time I was upgrading skimmers, getting new lights, emptying and re-starting my tank all because I want corals! ha ha ha. You guys are a bad influence on my wallet!

Oh, and I'm slowly but surely trying to get through my new book on water chemistry. This is the most boring topic of all time and sometimes I want to poke my eyes out.

Dentoid, I am always trying to impress you and Dr. Hank. Even when I'm shopping for corals I think "WWDD" or what would dentoid do? ha ha ha ha. Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating a little.

You have impressed me. Not by what you get for your tank (that's a personal thing) but by how much you've learned in such a short time and by not giving up when things went bad. You listened, read, researched, and learned. You've gained more knowledge and confidence in a month than some folks do in a year.

It's my pleasure to try to help you and others like you that are eager and willing to learn. I'm sure that many others here feel exactly the way I do. Your success and their success make my efforts worth while.

I've learned a lot here on RC too thanks to the many others who have helped and advised me. We all have a common bond and with continued positive reinforcement we all help to make this hobby a real pleasure.

I don't think you will find a larger bunch of knowledgeable and caring individuals dedicated to the hobby anywhere. Congratulations again Melanie and I thank you all!
