I love seeing the fish dart in and out of the rockwork. Your tangs really do seem to get along well. Particularly the sailfin and the yellow. Kind of funny since most people say they won't get along. Yours clearly like each other. I bet all that open space helps. They have lots of places to swim.

Re: My first tank, 450 L

I have just had the sailfin for a couple of days, but he and the yellow seems to be good friends. I like the sailfin more and more, it`s prob. one of my fovourite fish now, it`s so beautiful with all the stripes.

Re: My first tank, 450 L

I have some aiptasia problems now and my CBB do not eat them at all, so I have bought some JoesJuice today, and that killed them all, great stuff!

This is my "new" toy that I got today. I hope someone will buy my old car now (the one behind it) , I really need to start buying corals now. The reef looks so naked

Re: My first tank, 450 L

thank you, it`s the M.B E320 avantgarde. I bought it from a family member who only used it when he was on holliday at his summerhouse, so it has almost no miles on it, it still has the new car smell

Re: My first tank, 450 L

looks awesome! great work...

2 things... one, you should be able to put that hammer in high flow... all coral generally can take more flow than we give them credit for... as long as it's not, like RIGHT in front of a powerhead, you should be fine.

also, it's great to see your sailfin and yellow getting along, that's great... now that they're teamed up though, adding a gem tang would likely cause major issues, and likely they would be for the gem tang. just a cautionary note.

keep up the excellent work! and pictures!

Re: My first tank, 450 L

hello all my computer have been down for a long time now, I finally got it fixed today, so i thought i would update my thread.

I have taken out all of the plexiglass, pvc and bottles. And i have added about 40kg of LR, and re-aquascaped my little reef. There are almost 35 SPS frags in there now, but i will be getting 9 larger SPS corals tomorrow

some pics of the new aquascaping:

And some frag-pics:
