20 Gal Nano

This is a tank I did for my wife. It's a 20 gallon tank that resides in our home office.

I decided that it was time to try and setup a nano tank to pose as a nice addition to the office decor as well as a semi-frag tank. I've seen several "nano's" on the site and liked how they could be used to keep species yo don't want to have in your main display. Anyway here we go.

I don't have a pic of the tank empty (blame it on my anxiousness), but here is one with just the rock and sand in it (notice the sticker still on it)

And one as I began to fill the tank with water

My aquascaping has since been readjusted do to the capture and extradition of a damasel I bought (will post pics of him later).

I forgot to do an equipment list

20 gallon tank
22 LBS live rock
15 LBS live sand
Aquaclear 70 fuge/filter
CPR Bakpak skimmer (rated for 75 gallons)
And a standard flourescent fixture( the reason there are no corals yet)
And a 100 watt heater (not sure the brand)
I have a powerhead in the tank to creat eonugh flow to keep SPS's at a later date.

Things are going alright... gettin a few additions going on... frustrated by the people taking 3 weeks with my lens but other than that pretty good! So an SPS tank! That would be cool a 20 gallon SPS tank!

Shots of the fuge up and running

The lamp on the fuge is a 10 watt halogen (I believe) bulb from IKEA.

Cool, im lookin to upgrade here in the future and maybe make it all SPS, not sure yet... Show her some of the tanks of the month on reef central! That will convince her! Or show her vanquishes tank!
