Re: LPS Tank

Thanks guys. I rearranged the rock like 10 times before i liked it. The frogspawns are about 4 inches across each, and the pic does no justice. They have the the most beautifull purple tips. My favorite coral in the tank right now is the Pipe organ coral in the back. I need to get a close up of that. I will get more pics up tuesday or wed. Again Thanx

Michael's reef Project

Ok Im a little late getting this thread up but I start from here. To begin with I had my uncle custom build me a 48''x24''x18'' tank. Then I had a family friend build me the cabinent. I have 120 pound of live rock. 50 pounds of tongan ridge, and 70 pounds of tongan branch. I got the lights for christmas. Aquamedic combination fixture ( two 250w MH, two 56w T-5) and an Aquamedic t-5 fixture 56 watt x 4. I have started out with a large canister filter, a HOB refugium, Berlin Protien Skimmer, and a UV sterlizer. The tank has been running for 4 months. I have just recently put i a few corals and my fish.( Powwder Blue Tang, Exquisite Wrasse, Male Lyretail Anthias, two pajama cardinals) My next project will be installing my new sump and ASM G2 skimmer. I ordered these things tonite. I should recive it by the end of the week. Ill get some pics up tommorow.
