Re: My Confession

Alright! Got my bucket-o-salt in the mail and have done a direly needed 15% water change. Now that the display is all pretty again, I'm making preps for putting the QT'ed fish back home.
for those that need a review, all three of my 'survivors' have been in QT since ich took too dern many from me. A little hypo salinity, and a couple months in isolation, and everyone looks great. Well, that is except for the sand in my display which has been begging to have the diamond goby back! The snails just weren't stirring it up enough to keep the cyano down I guess.
They're on the drip now, and as soon as the lights go out in the main display, they'll be ready for the final transition. I'll see if I can get some pics on Thursday for all you pic addicts.
As for the catfish: they're doing great, almost on dry food completely now. They'll be getting their first round of shots later this week, and be on their ways to good homes in just 2 more weeks. My wife is still trying to convince me that we could manage with 4 cats in the house.

and goby in the drip bucket:

Re: My Confession

Glad things are going well with the tank.
Those kittens are just to die for. I understand why your wife wants to keep them. I would to.

Re: My Confession

My wife is going to kill me when she gets home from work tonight. I should really never play with ebay.

Apparently, I just bought a 125 gal tank with stand/canopy for $580.

Re: My Confession

It isn't pure manliness when you've already been ASKED to build a bigger tank; LOVED the deal on the tank ... was just po'd he randomly changed my Ebay password!!! I work at a vet clinic ... LOTS of phones that take incoming calls, but he forgets that.
BTW, it's beg forgiveness instead of I'm sorry. I'd beat him with wet calupera ... but he can't seem to keep a good enough tank to grow it ...

I remember a thread on ''that other forum'' where this guy set up a 400 gal reef in his livingroom while his wife was away on business

Re: My Confession

Went down to Bunnell, Fl yesterday and picked up my tank.

The fellow had a pretty nice saltwater fish store down there. If you find yourself in that area, I'd recommend stopping in. Not much for coral and LR, no equipment really, but a great selection of fish. I'll add it to the LFS page tomorrow. Got work to do today.

Re: My Confession

Great looking stand/canopy! Look almost identical to the 65g setup that I just purchased in Orlando.

Great deal also. Can't wait to see that thing stocked!!

Re: My Confession

Well, just got back from a 3 month long "diving trip." Here's one picture I'm allowed to show from a trip up to periscope depth.

Apparently about 4 of them were having some fun with the periscope.
