Re: Snelly's 90g Reef-O-Rama

Awesome fish!!!! The first fish I added to my 100 gallon was a PBT. They are my abesloute favorite tang. Yours is Beautiful. What Store did he come from?
That sump looks very familiar!!! Hope it works as good for you as it did for me!!!
Just to let you know, the first chamber to the left is where the skimmer is suposed to go. I dont know it it matters or not. Just figured I would let you know. The water level in the first chamber never fluctuates, it does in the other to chambers. So it may have some impact on your skimmer.

Everything looks great!!!

Re: Snelly's 90g Reef-O-Rama

thanks michael, im not sure if that makes a difference or not, i will see if i can fit it in there, i liked it in the middle so i could get to the filter sock real easily.
I hope the pbt does alright, i have read so often that they can be quite succeptable to many diseases. I got him at Lucky Fin, it is a new LFS in the university area

Re: Snelly's 90g Reef-O-Rama

Hey man...looks like things are going well! Congrats on the Tang...I hear they are very susceptable to ick as well. Proper acclimation should help go a long way with that thoguh.

Is that the BTA I sent in the 1st pic with the clowns?

God bless,
Chris

Re: Snelly's 90g Reef-O-Rama

alright guys, skimmer is in the first section, i moved the canister filter to the last compartment to make room for the skimmer. Now the middle sections is empty, i plan on adding some cheato and i am thinking that maybe since it has no powerheads that i can place some of the baby bangais in that section too, would that be ok???

Re: Snelly's 90g Reef-O-Rama

Full Tank Shot - these never come out as good as i would like , but its an overview

Same Torch coral as above, just much bigger now...

Orange Monti - growing everyday, has double in size in 2 months

Toadstool - same one in previous pics near the middle of the tank - he has really grown and colored up

Duncans - came with 4, up to 10 heads now

Frogspawn

Goby - had to throw at least one fish pic in

Zoo colonies

Favia - growing like a weed lately

Pink Zoas

Orange Zoas - on the old pic about you will see a small are or these in the front middle, well that small colony of like 15 grew into this and into the oragne ones in the pic with all the greens ones, i fragged them

Orange Rics

Left Side of Tank - notice the growth of the Rock anemone compared to before...

Right Side - i need to trim back my halimeada again

Goby and pistol

My carpet has really grown too, need to clean the sides and i'll get some more pics

Enjoy

Re: Snelly's 90g Reef-O-Rama

Wow! That's looking great! Interesting coloration on that Watchman. I like the green macro algae growing around the torch. Have you considered a Foxface to help keep the algae under control?

Re: Snelly's 90g Reef-O-Rama

Dent, thanks for the comments bro. My foxface never really ate that algea. No one seems to. It is calcium based unlike many algeas so i just have to keep pruning, but the good new of it is that it shows my cal / alk balance is right on!

Speaking of my foxface, i had a thread where he used to get stung by my carpet, well the other day i found him half eaten laying next to my carpet. Guess he got too close this time
