Re: Snelly's 90g Reef-O-Rama

hey guys, well my yellow headed jawfish arrived dead
I feel it was FedEx's fault as the driver did not deliver the package and didnt call me to find my place b/c he said the apartment was not listed on the address. Finally after i called them and told him my addres of 910-101 is my exact address, he thought an apartment would have a letter, not numbers.
Then they double booked the driver and he could no deliver the package so i had to go meet him when i got off work at 9pm.
I took half a day to be there in the morning and then all this still happens. I talked with the company and they are going to re-send two jawfish, but they want me to add them onto a new order and i am arguing that b/c i dont feel i should have to pay another 100$ to get free shipping on something i already should have....then when i got home my yellow tang was deathly ill and i found him on the sand bed the morning after
went to scoop him out and he swam off...fearing the worst however, i got home from work last night and he looked great and was swimming around and ate a few pellets and scarfed some algea, thank god!!!

So sorry to hear about the jawfish. Glad the tang is better though. Sounds like you had a really rough day.

So sad about your jawfish! Do you have to wait until they are back from vacation or are they shipping it out sooner?

Re: Snelly's 90g Reef-O-Rama

If this was an overnight shipment it should have been guaranteed to arrive by 10:30am. If not, then FedEx is liable for the shipping costs. Take this up with FedEx.

Re: Snelly's 90g Reef-O-Rama

Hey guys, so i'm still waiting for the results of the claim, but will probably have to put in another oder and will most likely get alot more rock and my free jawfish.
But, i hade a $100 gift card to my LFS and low and behold i went in yesterday and they had a beautiful Flame Angel, the fish i have wanted since i got in the hobby, needless to say i grabbed him and acclimated him last night and he ate lots of shrimp about an hour later. he is doing great. Pics on the way soon!!!!!

Re: Snelly's 90g Reef-O-Rama

The Flame angel was my first fish! Unfortunately, I lost it in the heater incident and have never replaced it. Mine did not pick on anything but the LR. Nice addition my friend!

I don't understand why you are having so much trouble with FedEx! Just have the jawfishes shipped and have FedEx pick up the tab, they are the ones who did not deliver the package by the guaranteed time. Why do you have to buy $100.00 more from the on line FS? They won't send you your replacement jaws without buying more!? Do they have an arrive alive guarantee? Sheesh- I'd think again before I bought form them again! Best of luck to you. You want me to rough 'em up for you?

Re: Snelly's 90g Reef-O-Rama

They do have an arrive alive guarantee but they give u a replacement code or money back, but i threw the fish out and they want them returned. Fed-ex is being even more of a pain, so im out of luck
but this new guy eases my pain, although it's hard on the girlfriend cuz she wants to name him and i make her wait at least a month b/c i'm superstitious. haha.... but without firther adu, here he is.... sorry notthe best pic
