I have devoted one corner of my tank to rics now, kind of wish I had done that in the beginning, but believe it or not I really didn't like them when I started all of this, now they are one of my favs. Oh, I got a sun today too. Anyway, your tank is looking good. I am still debating on what size nano I want to get...lol
Thanks caitrina! I had a great time! weather in Indiana couldn't have been better! Thanks I like him to, he's just so darn hard to get a good picture of, because he's so shy! as soon as I get near the tank, it's off to his home, and that's all there is to it! Sounds interesting, got a picture of it? I didn't particularly care for rics when I started either, but once I started seeing them in person at the LFS, I fell in love... just not with their prices... One of the rics is about to split into two, which should be interesting You're tank will look great with a "ric secion" I wish I could have started my BC 8 gallon already to give you some input for the nano, but I've decided to wait until the summer is over, and everything settles down again for the winter Thanks again for the compliments!

Re: Andy's 29 Gallon Reef

New additions!! Enjoy!

Green Mushroom: Not sure about it really, need to do some further research.

New Zoanthids! Yes I love them! Can't see them that great yet( behind the green ones) , but I'll get a new pic when they open more. I've already made a 2 polyp frag too

New FTS. How many Zoa frags can you spot??

Finally a pic of the rics from page 8 that I love... so I reposted

Re: Andy's 29 Gallon Reef

two more of the zoas! one original image, and one zoomed/cropped enjoy! Both pictures aside from cropping of course are unmodified! Gotta love those colors!

My zoa morph collection is growing

Thought the original shot looked nice, so I'll post it too

hah, honestly they dont, if i can capture the color well, like in the last couple of pictures, I can't get the detail with it that makes them beautiful, or vice versa... But I just do what I can with my little 5MP canon

Now why are you still debating? We found the perfect Nano at my lfs. Just because it was a 72 bowfront (I think) you just need to get a truck so next time you can bring it home.

Re: Andy's 29 Gallon Reef

I'm so happy I took the time to read through your entire tank chronicle. It was fun watching your corals develop. I really love the mushrooms you got in the beginning. Those things grew!!

Well thank you for reading through! I've had fun so far and it's only been 7-8 months! The best is yet to come Those mushrooms are nuts, they just don't stop fragging! I've got loose frags lying on the substrate, Id be willing to ship them away to someone for a trade or for shipping cost only I'd rather share with you guys than with the LFS! Same with the zoanthids when they "come of age" Thanks again!

Very nice Andy! Great video! I see your Bi-color blenny needs a name. How about Jean Claude or Napoleon?
