90 Gal Sick Day...

Well, it looks like I have a few days off work (Dr's orders) so I guess I'll start my thread for the 90 gal.

I currently have a 29 Gal Oceanic Bio Cube, that I QUICKLY outgrew. Actually my Purple LTA outgrew it... And, I just want a bigger tank for all the stuff I've accumulated since September.

I also have 2 smaller 3 gal picotopes. Here is one of those:

I am purchasing Woodstock's old 90 Gal AGA. She is lucky enough to be upgrading to a 120! So thanks to the great deal she offered on her tank and stand, my LTA gets a new home.

Here is what I have so far...

Are you ready?

Are you sure?

mini-100_1278.JPG
I have the Current Outer Orbit w/ 250w MH's and T5's. Yes, that's it! And, they're still in the boxes.

That's Jake BTW, he gets a little jealous when I play with the fishies...

So, as the project nears... I expect to be taking many more sick days... Cough, Cough, Sneeze, Sneeze...

Any advice/ideas are greatly appreciated!!!

Re: 90 Gal Sick Day...

Nice chronicle thread Lisa I am taking off work tomorrow and will also be leaving early today!

My Plan: I will be finished with the stain/paint tonight, dry fitting the plumbing tomorrow, and switching the tanks Saturday.

The real ones kinda suck... pneumonia in this case. But the "fake ones"... now they are priceless!!!

I'll have to be really creative to come up with some excuse to beat this one.
Any Ideas?
Please, nothing involving crabs

I have one but I don't think you'll like it.
I had pneumonia last year and because I didn't go to the doctor I ended up with an abdominal hernia from all the coughing I did! I had to have surgery the first week of december.
That gave me two weeks off from work (with pay) and the third week, I had already have vacation time to go to Indiana to get married!

Re: 90 Gal Sick Day...

OMG Gina that's horrible... glad I went to the dr.

Thanks Matt... I'm gettin excited!

Thanks Mr. B!

This also leads me to my next question... I know that a nem SHOULD not be placed in a new tank. I honestly have been through a lot with this guy and don't want to risk hurting him. If I seed the new tank with sand and LR from the cube, and add new cured LR and LS, and use pre-made (NutriSeawater)... will he be OK?
