I would put a 90 on the end of the recirc and a piece of pvc to run the line below the water level to cut back on noise

Well the initial design is messed up now because some genius (me) glued a wrong piece at the top. The recirc is now diverted to the drain section. It sits perfectly at the top of the first bubble trap baffle. I think it should work fine. I still have time if you think I need to change it. Let me know...

Tomorrow... I promise. I'm gonna hit LFS when they open at 10 for my rock they've been curing. Then it's crunch time. Have to get it done because I can't miss Daytona. Oh, I need more sand too...

I'm back... Only got about 40 lbs of rock. Took another 30 +/- from the cube. I will add some more tomorrow. Most of what the LFS had was branch. You can only use so much branch, IMO. Even though it was really nice. The good thing was I dug it out myself... so I could shake it off REAL good. So far, haven't found any crabs... Getting ready to do one corner with my little bit of rock...

Right side aquascape... so far. Need more rock! Tank is a little over half full of water. Forgive the pics... it is daytime. I usually take tank pics at night...
