Pyramid snail shell is white, thinner and more pointed than that one. I do not think it is a pyramid.

Now for the equipment update:
I have remedied the overflow noise thanks to suggestions from Woodstock and BrothaWolf. I extended the drain pipe about 3" and problem solved! It took about an hour to get the flow re-adjusted but it's all better now.
I also flooded the bottom of my stand. I don't know how I did it, but the jug for the AquaC Remora Skimmer overflow flooded while I was at work... Maybe skimming a little to wet??? Anyway, I got that cleaned up. I hope the smell doesn't stay in the wood forever!!!

If that mag 5 pump is too strong (too wet of skimmate), use a mag 3 instead.

Yeah... you warned me, LOL. I'm going to order the g3, and probably hook the remora up to the biocube since it's got a really "crappy" skimmer. I figure I can easily run new tubing through that stand and have a container in the bottom. I'm definitely going to valve it, or get a smaller pump ;-) Thanks!

I've been awhile trying to get my water chemistry "just right". Today was the big day. Transfer went well. Took a few hours to get it all moved over. Got my RK2 setup... LOVE IT! (Thanks Doni~ Digital Aquatics should be giving you a commission) Everything seems to be doing well, so far. I know, I know... pics! I will be taking full tank shots tomorrow when everything is settled.
Since I've got to give you something to look at...
