Re: Mr Bojangles 120g Money pit!

Yes cameras are fun! I just have a Casio exilim pocket camera for point and shoot type pics

Well I have more! In February 2006 I added a remote deep sand bed to help lower my nitrates and put my Cal reactor and Co2 tank under stand. I also got rid of the frag tank since I was keeping everything in the main tank to watch grow.

In May of 2006 things were good, all I lost was my Achilles tang and a Midas blenny, but all was looking good.

My little green nepithelia that I have had for 3 years and has had up to the point very slow growth

Baby green toadstool

Re: Mr Bojangles 120g Money pit!

NOW! I am getting there!

Here is a pic of my finished mushroom hell! I tried everything to get rid of them, hot RO water, kalk past, hot RO/kalk paste, shade, everything! So I managed to get the whole rock out and bring it to the LFS, I was amazed it didn't even last a whole day in the shop! But I am glad its gone it was taking up valuable frag space.

Now this is my recently modded ( I cant have anything unmodded) reef octopus NW-200 skimmer with a gate valve mod done to it.

Here is the tank it is going into, a 25g with a baffle height of 9 inches for the skimmer recommended by the manufacturer. I have a bulkhead I put in for the drain to my main sump. (side note: you can see the 75g behind the dog)

Here is the messy side where the 25g is going to go, I had to raise the ballast and you can see the mag9 that I have plumbed externally. I also Added a small ball valve to feed the cal reactor since the rio I have was of course adding more heat and didn't make enough pressure to keep a constant drip rate.
