Looks nice Doni!
Are you going to sand the stand and what stain are you planning on using?

Re: ~Woody's 120 Escapade~

I just ordered a new Iwaki 55RTL return pump... thanks again Billy!

Gina, same color as it is (black). Sanding and redoing the stain and polyureathane will make it look like new. Adding new hinges and molding will make it look much nicer.

i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~

Re: ~Woody's 120 Escapade~

Woody here is a link to my 120 with a 40gal breeder sump, thought it might help since it is basicly the same setup you are doing. cioutlaws 120gal.

I used a Coralife pump rated at 1200GPH & placed it on the left over styro pad that the tank sits on. It has been very quiet & trouble free since April. Congrats on the new set up!!

Re: ~Woody's 120 Escapade~

I need to add the trim, drill holes in the stand for the overflows, add a few more coats of polyeurathane and then I'll be ready to dry plumb it

I did not want to paint the back glass black so I painted it a dark blue. Very similar to the color on my 90 gal.

I did not want to paint the overflow glass so I taped them off.
