Yep, the skimmate is indeed that brown. I have it set to skim "wet". I might adjust it to skim dryer later.

I can verify the coloring... LOL. I have seen it and it indeed was that brown, if not darker

Seriously though... Doni has done an amazing job. The tank looks amazing, even though it is not scaped "properly" yet in her opinion. It is definitely a great looking setup. I think the blue background was a great choice. The look of it with the lights is spectacular.

It took me only 2 hours to complete... not too bad.

Before shot..

First thing was to remove the corals (except for the aggressive euphyllias)

New base rock to add

Ready for some changes!

Right side finished!

Left and right side finished!

Added corals

More pics of course when it clears up. I need to get some super glue gel and 2-part epoxy to secure a few of them. I also need to glue my orange zoa mat (huge) and my GSP mat (huge) to the overflows.
