I only have about 80 lbs of LR in my 93 gallon and it's more than enough. The tank looks great it took mine a few days to clear from the sand, are you using a filtersock ? That'll help clear it much quicker.

I too like the cover on your overflow box. I still need to work that out on my tank. Great idea!

Thanks Cheeks! I was just thinking more rock gives me more places to squeeze in stuff. Im not using a filter sock... I cut a hole in a sponge made for an aquapod and fit the end of the drain hose in that. Do you think a filter sock will be better. It seems pretty clear today.

Well its making nice bubbles in the tube, nothing in the cube yet but Im thinking theres nothing really to skim yet.

Filter socks are great for polishing the water but if it's clearing up I wouldn't worry about it. AFA the rock the way you have looks great and the only reason why I mentioned it was because I thought you were concerned about not having more rock.

Thanks! I like it also but you are right I was a bit concerened.... was shooting for 1.5lbs/gallon Now I dont have to worry!!!
